Merry Christmas!

Well, alike last year, I'll be accompanying you in rifling through the presents under the Christmas tree and enjoying a good ol' fashioned Christmas meal.

Only 8 more days to go until we can wave this strange year goodbye. It was a strange year for many reasons. Being that, we worldwide beat one COVID strain,

and now have seen the occurence of a new one, meaning last years message is just as relevant now as it was before.

We've reached the time of giving, and the time for receiving too! But importantly, the message

remains strong that Christmas - alike beating the pandemic, is a community effort, and an effort

of us joining together will conquer and allow us to see the backend of it!

This year, the globe also experienced so many victories! We bounced our economies across the world back to a 'stable' point, we supported each other when we needed it most,

we reached a stable point in the COVID-19 pandemic, lowering infections by creating an effective vaccine rollout and following important guidance, we supported

local businesses which suffered the most.

Alike the world, Sparked Host LLC experienced victories too, not equally as impressive to most as what the world managed to achieve, but to us, massive! In March, we saved our company from potential financial ruin when we were suspended on a payment platform that we needed the most in a stressful period of time. We experienced an ambudance of new Discord members, around 3,600 in total - which is an

impressive figure to gain in one year, we rebranded our website, developed the most awesome control panel (Apollo, a massive shoutout to Nik, Raul, Harry and Havasu) and saw our company flourish to be

more substantial, more stable and more technologically cool!

Very much of the news we see today causes us fear and anxiety of the future ahead, and only the future

carries the knowledge what it may hold. But, as we part ways with 2021, it's important to continue on to

see many more years go by. This year, unlike last, we'll see more families socialising together, less restrictions on day-to-day life, and less families

being forced to 'visit' each other over facetime, skype and other online platforms - which is a massive step in the right direction and the best kind of proof

that things will only improve with time!

Each year that goes by - we'll continue to learn new lessons, and we'll carry these stories on to

tell our families in the future, I can see many novels containing the punchline 'The ('or not so') Great Pandemic of 2020',

but hopefully - those novels will demonstrate the sacrifices we have all made, the lessons we've

learnt, and the support we gave to each other in possibly - the most challenging times we'll see

throughout our lifetime.

To 2022 being a better year, we still continue to have the same wish as last year, stick together

in unity with regards to following Government guidance, continue to follow the advice of those

health organisations that allow us to spend Christmas together this year, alike last year

continue to support small organisations like ours that have suffered massively

and have a safe, and Merry Christmas with those of you who are able to drink - not drinking too much!
